Fly Fisher’s Workshop 2025

Our Board of Directors are in the planning stages for this event. We are looking to form committees to bring this Workshop to it’s fruition. We’ll be looking for members to help with planning, setup and breakdown, and members who would like to volunteer as presenters. Fly Fisher’s Workshop is a fun one-day fly fishing event that provides informative workshops/seminars to promote fly fishing and broaden skills. The workshop will also include seminars on cold water conservation. It’s the largest fly fishing event in Upstate New York! There will be 50 minute workshop sessions on various topics for beginner to experienced. Multiple workshops are offered each session, so that participants choose based on their interests.

We cover everything from trout, bass, saltwater, fly tying, casting, rod building, leaders, tying knots, and more. We have 30 different workshops and fly tying demos. There are casting demonstrations, casting clinics, fly tying demos, fly fishing vendors, local guides, a casting competition and great raffle prizes . Hungry? Visit the food trucks for coffee, snacks and lunch.
